Salt Setup
Forward unanswered calls from your Salt number to Fonea.
Works on any Salt mobile phone. Takes 10 seconds.
Open your phone's dialer
The standard phone app, as if you were making a call.
Dial the forwarding code
Replace NUMBER with your Fonea phone number:
This forwards calls after 20 seconds of ringing. You can change the last number to 10, 15, 25, or 30 seconds.
Press the call button
You'll hear a confirmation tone. Done!
Important: Salt uses a different code for busy forwarding than other Swiss carriers.
Note: this is *69*, not *67* as on Swisscom and Sunrise.
Swiss numbers only
Salt only allows call forwarding to Swiss phone numbers. Forwarding to international numbers, special numbers, or emergency numbers is not possible. Make sure your Fonea number is a Swiss +41 number.
- Go to my.salt.ch
- Navigate to Subscriptions
- Go to Telephony
- Configure Forward on no answer with your Fonea number
- Save
If you previously set up forwarding and just want to re-enable it with the same number, simply dial *61# without specifying a number. Salt will use the last configured destination.
